1. START with an image of a face, or portrait,
in RGB or Greyscale mode.
Open
the layers pallette.
2. Duplicate the background layer by dragging the
layer to the new layer icon
at the bottom of the layer's
pallette. This creates Background copy 2.
3. Making sure the caps lock key is off, type the letter D
4. Click on the Quick Mask Mode (Q)
.
5. Click the paint brush tool in the toolbox.
6. Paint with the brush any lines and wrinkles or signs of Aging on the face.
7. Click the Normal mode ( on keyboard type Q again to switch back).
8. Select > Inverse on the top menu outlines the
signs of again with marching ants.
9. Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a 2 pixel radius.
10. FINISH. To make the blur look more natural,
decrease it by lowering
the
opacity of the layer to 40% to 70% opacity.
